The olive oil tasting place is located in Brist at Pansion Franka , 110km from Split, 110km from Dubrovnik, and 40km from Makarska.

The tour begins with a brief history details about the village and history of olive producing in the past till the nowadays. Guide will explain the olives’ reception process and the different steps for oil extraction. You will see the equipment used and methods of milling (current and antiquated), and learn the basics of the process, as well as some other considerations related to the milling process. Then, you will have the opportunity to see the cellar where the oil is stored . During the presentation you will be able to do a degustation of a 3 variety of olive oil and see the difference between them. Most important , you will be able to distinguish the oils’ sensorial aspects that will turn the tasting into a delightful experience to enjoy flavors and aromas. Beside the olive oil you can also try white or red local wine from Vrgorac wine hill, homemade Dalmatian desert “Fritule”, dry figs, local cheese, rewarded homemade jam from wild oranges. Get an experience that will awaken your senses to all the joys that Croatia, Dalmatia and the wonderful olive oil world have to offer.
